Your Leisure Lifestyle, an Art Exhibit by Manx Wharton at the Nova Straaf Gallery
04/01/2009 Post Category: Events
Manx is a multi-talented artist (music, photography and more) coming to us from our current port West Of Ireland. His wonderful exhibit is now on display for your enjoyment. If you like art then this is another great exhibit you don't want to miss!
What is more majestic and enjoyable than a no-expense-spared leisureliner cruise on the open sea, with the broad blue sky above and glassy, crystalline ocean below? Experience the pinnacle of social status and class in one of the most compelling venues one could imagine: A virtual cornucopia of the world's great luxury cruise ships.
Inspired by SS Galaxy's own enduring policy of including the stately seaborne portrait of their opulent vessel in all gallery shows regardless of theme, I pay homage to this bold passage-maker spirit with my own compilation of cruise ship portraits gathered from travels all over the world. Marvel at the rich diversity and courtly character of these grand floating palaces as they ply through their itinerary of exotic ports of call.
Celebrate the splendor of the seas with exquisite images that whisper the elegance and refinement of fine art, while capturing the queens of oceanic travel's New Golden Age, defining the paragon of culture and refinement aboard each cruise. Feel the grace and power of these mighty vessels as a testament to the miracles of modern engineering, captured in breathtaking digital photography. From Cabo to Cork, from Manaus to Mogadishu, discover the best these destinations have to offer from your vantage on the pristine teakwood decks.
