This Saturday the Galaxy is pleased to present Eponine Dench LIVE at 5pm in our Zodiac Ballroom! Eponine performs those sultry, jazzy songs that make you want to get closer to someone wonderful. Her sets include titles from Sarah Vaughn, Etta James, Sarah McLachlan, Katie Melua, Norah Jones and more. Definitely a performance you don't want to miss!
With Valentines day fast approaching our spa is offering a special by one (30 or 60 minute) Massage get one free! The second is fully transferable. You can treat yourself giving the second to a friend (or that special someone) or use it another time. Simply buy your certificate from the vendor in the spa or contact our Health and wellness manager: Sammy Reddevil directly. Offer valid only until February 14th or until 20 certificates are sold.

The Aaurora Borealis can now be seen off the port side in AFT. The golf course and inside the Zodiac ballroom are two great locations to view this spectacle. But of course it can only be seen at night.

Two new games have been added to our arcade area! The first is called DEAL which operates the same as Zyngo (or Slingo which it is basie don) with a few extra features. Click the machine to receive a how to play notecard (if you haven't played before. And we have also added Danger Zone! Danger Zone is a 'press your luck' type of game and is for 3 to 8 players. The objective is to run home with as many gems as you can but watch out for the dangers! Do you stay or run? To start simply pay the game and hop on the platform with your name. For complete instructions click the table and pick "rules" from the menu. We hope you enjoy these additions.
Of special note this week, the Monowheel races return on monday 12pm. And on Thursday first we have the all new Water Aerobics at 9am. And the SLCS Cheerleader Squad returns to show us several of their routines 6pm. And on Saturday Shandon Loring returns to story hour at 11am and at 4pm we have the Blue Lotus Geishas for another of their excellent performances.

We have a special Halloween Ball this Saturday starting at 1pm with Haruno Watanabe followed by DJ Damien! Also on a spooky note we have costume Yoga this Thursday at 9am with the prize going to the bet dressed.

A reminder to everyone that if you need assistance and no one is in reception you can use our service kiosk to call for assistance. Also don't forget that if your rent ever expires, when renewed to relock your doors. When the rent expires all settings go back to the default which is unlocked.

We have updated our single dance ball system at the pool deck. The new system allows you to pick one dance, dance with the group, or have it pick random dances changing every minute! Two new animations have been added as well!
Also our refer-a-friend program starts this week! If you are a current renter and a friend of yours rents, they will get bonus time added to their rent. Rent for a week, get a week free! Simply contact me with the name of your friend and their room number for them to receive credit.

Dedicated to those with disabilities, it shows how the virtual world can be used to help turn those disadvantages into advantages! Also due to popular request we will be remaining for the month of September as well!

There have been a few changes in our mall. A few new stores, some upgrading in size, and we still have two spaces open. If you have been looking for a mall space aboard the Galaxy now is your chance! This weekend we had a special fund raising event: Balloons For Satu with all of the proceeds going to our sushi chef, Satu Moreau who has recently fallen on difficult times. I am pleased to announce the event went very well and BIG thank you to everyone that donated!

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new medical center! Are you feeling seasick? Did you sprain your ankle jogging on deck? If you need medical assistance while on cruise with the SS Galaxy feel free to call us. If you have any general medical questions you're welcome to ask us and we'll do our best to answer. Of course we can't diagnose or treat any RL conditions without seeing the patient in person. Please keep in mind that a virtual consultation can never replace an appointment with your doctor.
This new service is free but tips are greatly appreciated to maintain the medical center. All members of our medical center staff are RL medical professionals. Please check the entrance area of the Medical Center for updates and further information on these services.

Then we are pleased to have Jonas Lunasea LIVE in the Zodiac Ballroom, and on Saturday we have two special events: It's Safra Nitely 's first rez day and she is celebrating in style starting at 10am. Everyone is invited! DJ Danton Thirroul is playing the best Jazz, big band and Ratpack. Then at 1pm Avvy Barzane is joining us again in the Zodiac Ballroom at 1pm!

Our valentines day events were a wonderful success. We had over 80 people ship wide for most of the day! And we have more great events this week! Be sure to check below for details.
And finally, as you probably have heard, the Galaxy was to close on March 1st. However a benefactor has stepped forward to save the Galaxy from deconstruction. This new owner has assured me there will be little change in the day to day operations of the ship. I shall be staying on as Managing Director and most of the staff will remain as well. We wish to again thank our benefactor and you, our loyal community. For without either of you, we would not be here.

A new dance has been added to the couples dance system in the Zodiac Ballroom.....Slow Dance 10! The couples dance ball is to the right of the stage, click it, then hop on the balls that rez near you, then click the couples ball again to choose your dance. A special thank you goes out to Emyly Beaumont for the donation!
And we new DJ starting this week on the pool Deck....Stormie Windlow playing the best music mix this Wednesday at 2pm and on Saturday at 12pm. Be sure and drop by!

This Sunday we had a opening for our new art exhibit by Manx Wharton. It was a great event with a live DJ giving a great performance and a chance to meet Manx himself. The exhibit will continue to be on display for the rest of the month be sure you drop by before it is gone!

Simply find and click on them. You will be given a notecard with a number and a christmas phrase. Write down all of these numbers and coresponding phrase on a notecard and send it to DBDigital Epsilon. The first person to find all of them, or the most by December 22nd at 9am wins a two night stay in a Galaxy suite (a value of 3600)! The winner will be announced on the 17th, or if someone finds all of them early.

Welcome aboard! We are pleased to announce that we are entering in our Eighth port in The Grand Voyage '08 - A Celebration around the World. We are now docked with Nantucket! Be sure to stop by and avail yourself of the great live music events and other features they offer!
