SS Galaxy DJ School
Do you want to become a professional SL DJ, but you don’t know how? Well here is the answer: the SS Galaxy will train you to become a Live DJ right here in SL.
You will receive:
- Training in the use of professional broadcasting software
- Training in microphone etiquette
- Personal one to one training and feedback
- Broadcasting training on a small stream account
- Group training on music selection and seamless links
Training is provided by the SS Galaxy DJ Manager, Sabre Coakes is a real-life professional DJ with over 20 years experience.
What will it cost me?
Training is provided free of charge subject to the following terms & conditions:
- On completion of training decided by Sabre Coakes you will be committed to perform a minimum of one shift per week at one of our three music venues onboard the ship for a period of 2 months.
- You will be provided with your own tip-jar during this time, set at 80% until your trial period is complete. You will be expected to play (radio edit) commercial chart music from any type of genre you feel comfortable with, from 1950's rock & roll to the latest commercial dance music.
- If after your trial period you wish to become a permanent member of our team you will be given use of the normal tip-jars that are set at 90%.
After your training If you decide not to attend your shifts during your trial period, you will be removed from the trainee group and your broadcasting software will be disabled preventing you from using it anywhere else.
